I'm just about over the fact that we will only get 2 extra slots for our characters. And, before I get ontopic I do want to say that their logic is alright, but the problem lies in the lack of spots in the original game. It's only 4 for 6 classes, when two new classes are added it makes sense to get two new spots, but there has been a petition for more character creation spots before factions was even anounced.

That said.

I face another problem. I already have a small storage, I use 4 PvE characters which I love and, call me a packrat, but I get full pretty swiftly. Now by ANet's logic, if 6* 200% > 8*100% ( though that is entirely flawed logic aswell, as you're not going to enjoy the game from start with your level 20 characters ) then 2* storage (seperate accounts) > 1 * storage (linked accounts), so I feel like the storage needs to be enlarged.

Any information about this already?

i'm betting all guild upgrades with be bought with sigil's.
if not i'm a fool and lost a ton of plat by not seling all mine ASAP.

i love a good gamble though.

Maybe you will use a different type of sigil to get the upgrades, why else would you have sigil trader not a Guild Hall seller.

I wouldn't mind paying for the extra storage personally. Something along the lines of 1k for 5 extra slots would be just fine by me.

The more slots the better to be honest, i save all sorts of stuff from the
easily obtained collector items from pre-searing ascalon to gold fissure rares!

If there was a way to just buy extra storage per "say 5 to 10 slots" at a time
then that would make me and a hole bunch of other people very, very happy.

I hope and pray for something similar to this...

It should be doubled, but it'll probably be increased by 1/2 if you actually link the accounts.

Storage most likely will not be increased and it isn't much of a deal.

Consider:
-Backpack = 20 slots
-Belt Pouch = 5
-Bag = 10
-Bag = 10
45 slots/character.

45*6 characters=270
+20 (Xunlai)

=290. More than enough

If anything they need slots SPECIFICALLY for CUSTOMIZED armor/weapons.

I agree. I have all 14 mesmer green items and all the different masks, optional runes for changing when need be, and multiple armor for different defense. I'd like to be able to have them all just on my character so I could swap between them anytime instead of taking up all the room of inventory.

The Frog talked about this. He said that there will be more storage space, didn't specify how much, but when I was talking with him, I had my Yule Cap on and he went off saying there should also be room to store holiday items like my hat.

That's cool, and should help those still dealing with the "only" two slots complaint... maybe.

It's not realistic that you can carry more stuff in your bag than a storage -_-
